It was interesting to read about the recursive method in the chapter about style. I enjoyed reading “If I Told Him: A Portrait Of Picasso,” as reading it was like reading a jumble of repeating words that had no meaning but how this unusual use of language and repetitive use of the word Nepoleon eventually made sense. I had trouble applying the recursive method to my own writing because I could not help but keep going over what I had written and thinking that it made no sense at all, but I think it could be helpful method to get prompts for my writing.
