I have really wanted to apply some of the techniques I learnt in class and just let language lead the way. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to spend much time on writing this week. But I did write a random paragraph from which I chose some lines that basically have no meaning right now, but it’s something I am going to try expanding in the near future. So my random impulse this week is just a few lines that need expanding.
It was a cold summer day,
I walked through the graveyard,
Enticing myself with the surreal surrounding.
The conspicuous marble headstone with the eight red topaz gems,
Allured me and sent chills down my sides.
I felt the touch on my left shoulder,
The cold sublime touch that shriveled my skin
And lurked through me, gliding me past the bare tombs.
