1. “He’s going to catch a cold, from the ice inside his soul”
One of my friends who recently broke up with her boyfriend said this. I thought this would be a great line for a break up poem that won’t be like Britney Spears terrible poem.
2. “The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts” –Bertrand Russell
I think this is a great way to think about happiness.
3. “I believe love is real, but at one point I also believed in Santa Clause and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
One of my friends had this on facebook and I thought it was quite hilarious. There is so much contradiction in one sentence which I thought was awesome!
4. “Whoever put ‘good’ and ‘morning’ together deserves a good slap in the face!”
This person that came for a campus tour said and I was surprised that I had never thought about ‘good morning’ that way. It made me think about how interesting the English language can be.
5. “Procrastination is for people who have nothing better to do!”
Another one of my friends said this line. It’s ironic because I usually procrastinate when I have so much work to do. I’m going to remember what she said next time I find myself procrastinating J
