Classmate Response: Week 8- Dairyan’s Poem ‘Parade’

I think Dairyan picked a really good subject for the poem. There is so much imagery that can be used to describe the Mardi Gras festival. I think she should work on expanding her poem, and add some imagery to it. Right now she’s telling what’s happening instead of showing us the sights and sounds. She might have written this poem in a hurry but I thought I’ll comment on it because I think it can be a great poem if she works on expanding and making it more descriptive.
